Ayyubid Egyptian

Saladin's Ayyubid Egyptian forces

Richard the Lionheart's opponents in the 3rd Crusade, heavily reliant on the cavalry arm, they are a fast and hard hitting army, with plenty of light cavalry, to frustrate the heavily armoured European knights.

Cavalry

Mamluks. Heavily armed and armoured, equally at home harassing the enemy at range with their bows or in a stand up fight at close quarters.

Ghulam Heavy Cavalry.  Armoured horsemen armed with lances, a match for the crusader knights.

Arab Lancers. good quality medium cavalry.

All the Heavy cavalry!

Bedouin light cavalry, good for harassing the enemy flanks.

Turkoman horse archers.

Infantry

Syrian archers

Bow armed skirmishers.

Syrian javelinmen, light infantry.

The complete army comes in around 500points,big enough for a good sized game of impetus, with plenty of options.
